Community Leaders Fellowship

The Community Leaders Network, a paid fellowship program by Ogden Civic Action Network (OgdenCAN), offers residents of East Central Ogden, Utah, a chance to grow as community leaders. Fellows are trained in civic engagement and community development and work on a community project that supports OgdenCAN’s pillars of housing, health, education, and financial stability. The eight-month fellowship, from September 2023 to May 2024, includes training in Asset Based Community Development, Design Thinking, and community resources. Fellows engage in weekly discussions, hands-on workshops, and one-on-one check-ins. The program emphasizes collaborative learning and real-world application, with fellows providing feedback to improve future sessions.
